day 6: what I do via blog post

Today's post is about what I do, other than my job. I feel like this may be a boring post, so I apologize in advance and will do my best to jazz it up.

When I'm not working part time as a electronic banking specialist at ENB, you can usually find me at home bickering at my goldendoodle while trying to cross stuff off on my seemingly never ending chore list. So yeah, I'm a housewife. I cook, clean, do laundry, grocery shop and watch soaps.{just kidding! sort of...}

I really enjoy reading and blogging. I guess you could consider them hobbies? Right now I'm reading the Hunger Games Series. But, I'll proudly admit that the Twilight Saga is still by far one of my most favorite reads. I realize how silly that sounds considering I'm 26 and the movies are just downright ridiculous. But, it is what it is.

I'm most happy when I'm with my family and friends, even if it's just sitting around chatting about nothing and everything over a glass of wine. So, when I'm not ordering debit cards, pooper-scooping or blogging, I'm usually with loved ones. As of lately, since our husbands{or mine in particular} are occasionally away on business, I've spent a lot my time with this girl and my niece and nephew. Are they not just the cutest things you've ever seen? I sure think so, too. It's SO fun to be an aunt, and I love watching them grow. Heart bursting.

As I've mentioned in an earlier post, my church is really important to me. I am a member of the women's ministry team, and have really cherished being mentored by a godly woman and dear friend, Eva. Also, Steve and I are leaders of the Missions Committee. God has really put a burden on our hearts for global missions and we have the privilege of serving and encouraging our WABC missionaries both state side and overseas. Recently, I just started a discipleship group to two great women, and I have really enjoyed getting to know them better and studying God's Word together. It's quite humbling to see how much God has been using and wielding me for His glory.

So, there you have it. I'm a banker, housewife, aunt, sister/friend, and servant of the Lord. Wrapped up in a blog post, this is who I am.
